Zoos and Aquariums should exist because it protects endangered species. Because of Zoos, animals like the Southern White Rhino, when their population was about 100 in the 19th century, have been 'revived' and have a population of 17,000-20,000 in the world. In aquariums, the rapidly declining African Penguins' genetics are being saved to help maintain them. In 1976, the Lobo wolf had 7 remaining wolves, and now, because of zoo protection and breeding programs, there is around 600 wolves!
