Procedure:
Eight groups of six children each viewed either an aggressive or non-aggressive model, with half observing same-sex and half opposite-sex models. Participants entered a room with a model who acted accordingly: the aggressive model attacked the Bobo doll with a hammer, while the non-aggressive model remained passive. After 10 minutes, participants moved to a separate room with toys, where they were observed alone; beforehand, they were briefly held in a non-interactive room for 2 minutes, inducing aggression arousal. Finally, they had 20 minutes alone with toys, observed through one-way glass.
