Death of Hitler in 1945 meant that death of a common enemy and an exposition of ideological clashes - more tension between Stalin + Churchill and Wilson. End to the grand alliance! Wilson + Churchill paired and Stalin felt more isolated, he wanted Germany punished because Russia was invaded many times.
