College has helped me to understand who I am and what I really value. I know way more about myself now than coming in. This has contributed both to a sense of purpose and improved sense of connection with others. I feel that when others see that I am finding my purpose they are drawn to me. Also, I am open to many different types of people, and I value diverse relationship types. I provide something different to each person I become close to, and vice versa. I have learned to become grateful for that. I felt very alone at the beginning, but it helped me to learn not only what I value for myself and in others. I would say that college has brought me more in terms of purpose and life experience than in terms of academic learning.

I personally feel like I have been building these habits over the course of my life, because I have seen them pay off in my experience (my high school internship)
