Ability
Can/can't
We use can to talk about things we are able to do or what we aren't able to do
be able to
It is the same as can but we use it in continuous and infinitive forms
Could
We use it to talk about abilities in the past.
Obligation
Have to/ don't have to
It is an obligation we don't believe in.
Ex: I have to do the homework
We use it to say that something is not necessary to be done
Must/n't
it's an obligation or a law we believe in. Mustn't is a prohibition
ought to
Is used to give an opinion or polite instructions
certainty
must/n't
It is when we make deductions of what we think will happen
Should/n't
It is used to express that we want something to happen
uncertanty
may/might
It is when we believe something has very little chances of happening
Could/n't
it'the same as may and might but it has bigger chances
Advice
should/shouln't
We use them when we want to advice someone what they should do
Have to
It is an advice but more obligated. Like a should but with another intention
