Validation Rules
% and Rate are mutually exclusive per row
For Percentage method → total % = 100%
For Rate method → total Rate = Transaction Premium
For mixed entries → Total payable must equal Transaction Premium
Balance Amount must = 0 to enable Save
Payable Due Amount is always system-calculated (read-only)
Last Instalment Auto-Calculation
If total allocation reaches 100% before last row → auto-fill last payable
If auto-calculated amount > remaining premium → Balance becomes negative
Save disabled until corrected
Instalment Due Date Rules
All due dates must be within policy period
Each instalment due date must be > previous instalment date
Date picker restrictions:
1st instalment → anywhere within policy period
Subsequent → (Prev. Date + 1 day) to Policy End Date
If user enters overlapping or invalid date:
System auto-adjusts all following instalment dates sequentially
If user sets instalment date = policy period end date:
All following instalments auto-set to policy end date
They become non-editable
Transaction-Specific Behaviour
Instalment plan is unique to each transaction
Endorsements must generate a NEW instalment plan
Previous instalment schedules cannot be reused
Refund Transactions
Settlement Mode Management is disabled (cannot expand)
Save Behaviour
Save enabled only when:
Balance Amount = 0
All dates valid & sequential
Allocation rules satisfied
On Save → instalment schedule stored with transaction
