Mechanisms
Linear motion mechanisms: These transmit motion and in a straight line from one point to another, example a lever or a pulley
Levers : The lever is balanced when the effort F, multiplied by its distance from the fulcrum r. This is called the law of the lever, which is expressed by this equation: f X d = R X r
Fixed pulleys: A fixed pulley is balanced when the effort,F, is equal to the load, R:

Nut and bolt
This consist of a bolt or thearded bad and a nut that has the same interior diameter as the diameter of the bolt
