Main question/Thesis - Whether female figures who are not formally in power utilise coinage as a visual mechanism of authority?
We know these queens were not formally in power, there is something within the coinage that is equivalent to those who did have formal power.

Why women? What makes their coinage so impactful? were there any male shadows who utilised coinage in a similar way?

make clear that I am looking at solely the eastern side of provinces and even then, just Palmyra. It would be to simplistic to make generalisations that eastern provinces i.e. Palmyra produces similar coinage that was used as visual mechanisms on the western provincial side.
