Polar Covalent Bonds
Definition-
A type of chemical bond where electrons are shared unequally between two atoms, creating partial positive and negative charges.
Hydrogen Bonds are a weak bond between two molecules resulting from an electrostatic attraction between a proton in one molecule and an electronegative atom in the other. +
Examples of Polar Covalent Bonds-
Water (H20)-oxygen is more electronegative than hydrogen
Hydrogen Chloride (HCl)-chlorine attracts electrons more strongly than hydrogen.
