Coaching styles
Submissive Style- engages with and acknowledges their athletes’ feelings,Provide athletes opportunities for choice (Deci & Ryan, 1985).
Cooperative Style- Collaborative approach, work together fro decision making and communication is vital
Command Style-no choices or rationales for their athletes, and although they do provide feedback, it is often negative (Mageau & Vallerand, 2003)
Coaching Style: The tone and behaviour in which a coach presents him/herself while training, instructing or helping their athletes (Mageau & Vallerand, 2003).
