There are areas where security is clearly more of a concern. At one point we realised we were near the UK embassy and though we would try and find it, but as we walked towards it, the first road had an unarmed security you just said 'interdit'. Found another road to go long which was linned with barded wire, old pill boxes, tank traps and security walls all whilist running along the top of a lovely park. As we reached th turn to head up to the embassay, a road further covered with barded wire and tank traps, another security guard just shook his head. No idea how you'd actually get to the embassy if you needed. Maybe just walk up cofnused saying 'English, English' and waving the passport, but it was also a reminder of the secruity situation.
