Respiratory and cough hygiene.
Teams
cleaning surfaces down if a colleague is ill to keep everyone safe from the virus and wear appropriate PPE around them to prevent it from spreading to other workers and the public.
Individuals
coughing into elbow and clean hands and surface down after coughing can help minimise infection spread because you'll be washing the germs away before they spread and wearing PPE incase someone else has a cough or respiratory problems.
Operations
wearing PPE when dealing with people who have coughs or respiratory problems to keep yourself and other safe from infection.
Hand hygiene.
Teams
to prevent the spread of illness - so multiple people are not off at once and the service stays staffed and it protects everyone's personal health.
Individuals
prevent you from getting sick - so you don't have sick days and loose out of keeping people safe and healthy and you don't lose pay and so you don't affect you from hurting your own personal health.
Operations
before/after handling a individual - to protect people from harmful germs from entering their body and affecting them and it ensures public safety.
Toileting and sanitation.
Teams
cleaning down surfaces everyone uses and making sure people know how to clean their hands and that they are actually cleaning them after using the toilet. This helps prevent spreading of germs which could lead to illness.
Individuals
cleaning your hands every time you go to the toilet, before and after you eat food, after touching others ect. helps minimise the spread of germs around the work area. cleaning surfaces, door handles, equipment and vehicles also helps areas stay saniatry.
Operations
keeping the public area in your service building clean lets them know you want to keep them safe and make sure they don't get ill and spread germs and bacteria around. cleaning waiting chairs, vending machines, toilets ect.
basic cleaning
Teams
cleaning after others - wiping surfaces after others and just remind them to clean up after themselves because of hygiene measures. keeping shared areas clean and disinfected.
Individuals
cleaning after yourself - wiping surfaces down after using it and bring in your own cutlary for meals and clean your own personal area clean and sanitary.
Operations
cleaning inside vehicles that the general public will use - keeping the vehicle clean and safe for the public's use so the risk of infections/ diseases and viruses is minimised.
Personal protective equipment.
Teams
prevents spread - prevents diseases spreading in big groups of people that have to work together.
Operations
keeps you safe from others - prevents others from harming you and protects you from catching anything off them and protects you from harmful substances.
Individuals
protects you from splashing/ spraying bodily fluids - keeps you safe from catching something unknown off the person you are dealing with.
