Morality
gender norms, mental health covid awareness of societal norms. sustainability.
Morality comes from the basis of preventing harm. However environmental harm is something that can now and in the future. Also hurt species, ecosystems and all of nature.
COVID is another case that has lead to many moral complexities which have led to extensive public debate. We study how people judge set controversial actions related to crisis.
Gender and morality explores how both male and female perspectives may differ in their moral reasoning and values.Carol gilligans critique of Lawrence Kohlberg who discussed moral devleopment. There have also been many forms of research that discuss the gender differences in moral reasoning
The idea of societal norms is something which can conflate morality with the idea of social acceptance. Social norms have helped to shape the way people live though out early periods of time.
The principle includes commitment to truthfulness in different interactions. It shows being sincere and teansparent when it is difficult. A recnt study showed 88% of people prioritise honesty in personal and professional lives.
Immanuel kant
When saving face is paramount to all other considerations, others invariably pay the price in order for the untrammelled supremacy of the ego to persist.
But “ego” does not quite grasp the social complexity bound up with the concept of “face” — which suggests something closer to “honour” or a kind of thick social reputation, standing or prestige that is conferred by others, the loss of which is no mere bruised ego but a threat to one’s social existence.
The concept of face has partly been shown from Chinese culture, despite this it has roots in the ancient of honour/shame cultures of Mediterranean and Asia minor Kwame Anthony Appiah.
Immanuel kant warned about the moral issues of defamation and intentional dissemination for scandalous information, reducing respect for humanity.
Hoffer stated that the technique fostering the readiness to fight and die separates the person from their own flesh and blood self"
Hoffer said that the main task of a leader is to mitigate the idea of dying and killing in order to present these ideas as positivie.
The over-identification with a group may lead someone to believe that they are nothing without the group.
The new member connects more and more with the group only just an extension of the group that they want to cooperate with.
As someone tries to consider the thoughts of the other groups they may be individuals who are trying to console with the devil.
Morality
If someone is not lying or communicating to have something without someone's full knowledge without their explicit consent you are manipulating or coercing someone.
Consent isn't just asking someone what you want 20 times a day but being respectful to their own needs. Consent involves asking how someone feels, listen to how they feel and respect whatever response comes back to oyu.

Moral licensing is a common phenomena that people participate in but have no idea that it is occuring.
-
moral psychology is often times difficult as telling people what they think they should do may not be executed.
Moral licensing is the theory that once you have done something good you feel you have gained authority to do something bad.
Kant said that "each person must never be treated as a menas to some other end, but also be treated as an end themselves
If we only see a person as a means to an end then we are displaying examples of unethical behaviour.
Lying, is wrong because you mislead a persons behaviour for a menas of oyur own end. Cheating is unethical, as you violate the expectations of a person for own personal gain.
We all must do the best to follow moral laws, as anything else means treating yourself as a means to an end, which leads to a lower sense of self esteem. This is shown when we stay on twitter to reduce the maximum potential of conciousness.

COVID 19 and morality
Over recent years, psychological associations of moral cirtical thinking have been observed by looking at the way individuals responded to COVID due to abstract dilemmas.
COVID 19 pandemic posed the world an extraordinarily difficult challenge which brought moral dilemmas to public sphere.
In terms of the ethics of COVID 19 many sicentists were having difficulty trying to find vaccinations that could actually be safe to use.
COVID 19 has challenged the way we interact with others in society and how we deal with certain dilemmas.
For instance in trolley type scenarios, participants got asked to decide if it was ok to save one person on the train or everybody else

Self respect is about understanding your own value and knowing everyone's value. As we call ourselves shitty and harm ourselves, we reflect that behaviour out onto the people around us.
