tonometry- measure the pressure inside the

Fluorescein Angiography- injecting the fluorescein
into a vein in the arm and taking photos of the eyes.

eye trauma-due to blunt
trauma to the eye, sharp injury, chemical or
thermal burns
nursing assessment -history,pain,neurological assessment(papilary response,extraocular movements), vital signs, visual acuity,
symptoms-eye drainage, visual changes, persistent pain, black eye

chemical injuries-cleaning products, garden chemicals,
irrigate with clean plain water immediately , know about chemicals
sharp objects in the eye-dont take it off, dont give anticoagulant, wear a protective covering, dont apply pressure on it
foreign bodies in the eye,
blink the eye , advice not to rub , remove with clean damp water , irrigate eye with clean water ,dont apply pressure
