The bench incorporates seating with greenery, providing a pleasant environment for resting whilst reusing an already manufactured piece of infrastructure.

Minimal waste from CNC cutting ensures precision and reduces offcuts. CNC waste can be used to make chip wood, used as woof fillings, or recycled.
The modular design allows the product to be repaired one component at a time increasing the lifespan of the entire bench.
Material + Manufacture
The material used is plywood, which makes it easy to CNC and is easy to obtain.
Wood is CNC-cut which reduces manufacturing waste and simplifies the assembly process, making the benches easy to mass produce and install
CNC-cutting allows for a large number of operations to be done in one go, meaning that a lot of the pieces and cuts can be done in one go

Accessability
The bench is step-free, ensuring that users who have mobility challenges can navigate the bench without difficulty
The design guides users intuitively towards the benches, and is easy to navigate without instructions.
Safety
The bench has no sharp edges, achieved by a CNC machine that has rounded all of the edges of the modular seating, making the bench extremely safe to use
Cost
This product is extremely cheap to manufacture. Whilst there is no set price for the product, the product is made using a CNC mill, making the process easily repeatable and reducing costs. As well as this, the material used is plywood, which is relatively cheap. However, it has a very high setup cost since the CNC mill is expensive.
Customer
The bench is aimed at elderly people, aiding them when they are on walks, providing rest stops along the way as well as an area for them to store their mobility aids while they rest.
Aesthetics
The bench creates a smooth swoop, making it look modern and minimalistic whilst carrying a large amount of functionality.
Size
The modules designed for leaning are 680mm tall, and those designed for sitting are 500mm tall. The edges of the bench are 800mm tall. All of the modules are 30mm thick, which can support the weight of the users as well as can be easily sourced.
