Fossil fuel usage
Alternatives - Since fossil fuels are a finite resource, in the coming years we will have to find some alternatives to them
Solar power
Solar panels, the main form of solar power capture sun rays with a large screen and convert them into electricity. Solars panel, being a somewhat new invention are still expensive and hard to produce.
Solar farms
Solar farms are huge fields filled with solar panels. they are especially useful for community's that are not connected to larger power grids or that want some independence.
Personal solar panels
Personal solar panels are often mounted on houses and are especially useful for homes that are off of the power grid, often being their only source of power. for homes that are on the power grid, they can be a great way to save money on energy, or even sell it back to whoever runs the power grid.
Nuclear
Nuclear fusion is the most efficient power source humanity has; it is also one of the most expensive. Nuclear power is not as complicated as it make seem. It is largely just water being heat by nuclear fusion and pushed through a turbine, spinning it. Said turbine is connected to a generator that generate electricity. Nuclear energy, if done right is one of the safest, most efficient and least pollution causing energy sources we have.
Hydro Power
Hydro power is when already flowing water's momentum is used to spin something and create power, whether that be a mill or a generator. Hydro power has been around for hundreds of years and currently generates around 15% of the worlds eletricity, the highest of any renewable energy source. Fun fact: The Three Gorges damn generates as much power as 500 nuclear reactors and holds so much water that it slowed the earths rotation, making each day 0.06 seconds slower.
