The reason species evolve is because they need to adapt to their surroundings; whether that be the ocean they live in or the forests they live in, everything is developed for a purpose.
For prey, typically they evolve to blend in with the surroundings and make themselves as little known as possible
On the other hand predators evolve to make sure they have the capabilities to hunt their prey and survive other predators.
