What strategies can smaller businesses utilize to launch and boost their businesses, boost profits, and have a larger and more loyal audience?
Research
I would look to research on sites such as JSTOR, and If I would prefer to look at statistics, I would use sites like Ballotpedia and cite them correctly.
-
There are many methods of research so I would look all over the web, and look for unbias sources.
Overview
The question I want to answer would be “how can a small business launch and profit?”. I would answer this question by talking about operational efficiency, how to build a recognizable brand, and the main company objectives.
Talking and presenting
The best way I can present this information is by collecting data from all the sources I've stated in the research section.
One thing I can do is show real statistics of data online evaluating the main factors on how small businesses that have improved grandly.
Reasons
I chose this project due to the fact that I have a strong interest for marketing, promotion, and social aspects of running a business. I want to learn how to build a recognizable brand and sell things responsibly, I also really want to have a great knowledge of this subject which cannot be grasped through the internet alone. I want to learn about how business really works.
In a broader perspective, this project is a really basic topic to write and compose a project about, but yet when I write or talk about it there is a lot to talk about. This is a topic I also authentically want to learn about.

Business slideshow
From my business question project aswell as my Annotated Bibliography, I have learned that building customer loyalty is really about building a strong trust, not just making a sale. Instead of constantly chasing new customers, I’ve learned it’s much more effective (and cheaper) to keep the ones you already have secure.
PAST research
I have researched in many different ways, including my annotated Bibliography, which I spent a lot of time on. I learned about the inbalances and bias between male owned and female owned businesses, and social issues stopping small businesses from improving greatly. for the AB I only used JSTOR.
SUMMARY - With the text that covered Bias and statistics between genders in terms of businesses my summary was - "Female owned corporations/businesses struggle to make a name more than male owned businesses. It slightly goes over why, and it gives statistics, but it is not the full paragraph, just the intro."
MAIN LIMITATION - "The main limitation of the paragraph is that it brushes over statistics of female owned businesses vs male owned businesses and shows that male owned businesses get more attraction, but it doesn't brush on why."
EVALUATION - "This paragraph was informative and helped me to understand the effects of sexism in business, and bias. It also shows the issue which still occurs today."
John R Boatright, January 2000, Globalization and ethics of business
SUMMARY - The text argues that business ethics is not an oxymoron. He states that business ethics is more than an oxymoron. He argues that business and ethics work together, although many people argue they do not.
MAIN LIMITATION - "I think the main limitations are that the paragraph is closed off, and doesn’t lead anywhere. The writer goes over the same points, without showing contrast.
He stated there is a big difference between the study of ethics and ethics, which I’m not sure makes much sense."
EVALUATION - This paragraph was very useful. It helped me understand what business is with ethics, and how they co-exist together.

Gender Differences in Business Performance: Evidence from the Characteristics of Business Owners Survey
In one text which covered Bias between male owned and female owned businesses ON JSTOR it read -
"Although female business ownership rates have risen in recent decades, the prevalence of business ownership among women is only 50-60% of that for men. The low rate of business ownership among women is a worldwide phenomenon. Aggregate data from the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) indicate that female self-employment rates are substantially lower than male rates in almost every reported country, with an average ratio of 0.543 (OECD 2002). In the USA, the female business ownership rate is 6.6%, which is only 60% of the male rate (Fairlie 2006)."
