GLACC
Functions
To check, coordinate and present feedback from the JKKMAR Meeting;
To coordinate the preparation and to check the consideration paper/concept paper to be presented in the JKKMAR Meeting;
To submit recommendations for the enhancement of governance, integrity and anti-corruption in the Government administration management system from National-level JAR for the consideration and approval of JKKMAR; and
To submit any recommendations for the enhancement of governance, integrity and anti-corruption to the responsible Minister for the consideration of the Cabinet through the Director-General of the National Centre of Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption should there be any current issues that require immediate attention and action and/or the JKKMAR Meeting is unable to convene within the stipulated time.

Functions

to organise conferences, seminars and forums;
to elicit opinions from various sectors on the progress made or on the obstacles faced in implementing integrity;
to publish and circulate printed materials as well as formulating and implementing training and educational programmes;

- To receive complaints of misconduct against an enforcement officer or an enforcement agency, to investigate and conduct hearing on such complaints.
- To place mechanisms for the detection, investigation and prevention of misconduct by an enforcement officer
- To protect the interest of the public by preventing and dealing with misconduct of an enforcement officer
- To audit and monitor of particular aspects of the operations and procedures of an enforcement agency.
- To promote awareness, enhancement and education in relation to integrity within an enforcement agency.
- To assist the Government in formulating legislation, or to recommend administrative measures to the Government or an enforcement agency in promoting integrity.
- To study and verify any infringement of enforcement procedures and to make any necessary recommendations.
- To visit the premises of an enforcement agency, including police stations and lockups in accordance with the procedures under any written law, and make any necessary recommendations.
