Political-
Employees and customers are increasingly concerned on companies values. Biggby should take subtle stances rather than releasing big statements, focus on showing stance through promotions and chosen vendors.
Economic
Biggby should strive to be more creative than the competition. new recipies provide a challenge for baristas to use their own creativity. (Jenson, 2019)
Social
while competition is healthy it does increase scrutiny at the employee level. Biggby should encourage employees to work to a high-level in a positive way. Leaders should promote a cooperative environment (Jenson, 2019)
Tech
Using Ideas from leadership Challenge one, Biggby should strive to stay ahead of the competition in terms of AI use. this can help streamline some of our services.
Legal
Biggby can avoid legal issues regarding competition by following anti-trust laws and avoiding price fixing (DOJ, 2016)
Environmental
Biggby should seek to highlight its goal of environmental conservation to elevate itself over competitors to consumers who are socially responsible (Jenson, 2019)
