A good way to do an adaptation is to take something familiar and make a little spin to it. So, I thought about substituting Christmas with a different Holiday. One that came to mind was easter because of how there aren’t many films based on easter so it would seem very unique and stand out. The main story will be mostly the same but with easter instead of Christmas. It would be called An Easter Carol. The three ghosts would be similar but with an easter twist. Easter past would be an Easter egg with a human form. Easter present would be an easter bunny like figure. And easter future would be a chorus of unborn lambs. This will be made out of stop motion puppets Now I don’t want to use the name Ebenezer Scrooge so I want to go for a similar person who’s an old woman called Elizabeth Stroob. All of these changes will help to create a new and unique adaptation of the original story
Idea 3: We're Going on a Bear Hunt horror

I think that this would be a good story to turn into a horror film. This would mainly be filmed in a woods area, the bear would be a stop motion puppet made to look extremely realistic. The beginning of the story will be the same until we meet the bear. Then it becomes an intense horror flick about survival where it’s about escaping the bear. The characters would also be different where it will be changed from a loving family to a group of four hunters. These changes to the story would be made to make a more intense and mature adaptation of the original story made for a more young adult audience.
