I have grouped everything in this cluster in orange to show how Latin American communities define themselves through their identities, particularly within the frame of culture and characterized by anticolonialist beliefs. The music, texts, performances, interviews, podcasts, and other works show how colonial power is resisted through various mediums, reclaiming culture, language, art, and the fusion of these forms. Overall, these works show a creative manner through which many Latin Americans have strengthened their identities and challenged popular colonial beliefs, including expected gender roles.
