        Tubuh menumpuk jaringan ikat untuk membentuk scar/bekas luka saat jaringan yang rusak tidak bisa direstorasi lagi

      - Labile Tissue -> sel yang terus menerus membelah diri dan mati (hematopoietic cell in bone marrow and epithelia in skin), keeps going as long as stem cell pool and base membran intact
        
        Stable Tissue -> terdiri dari quiescent cell (G0 stage) yang bisa berpoliferasi in low capacity but will divide to respons to injury (liver, kidney)
        
        Permanent Tissue -> Terdiri dari sel yang sudah berdifferensiasi final, tidak bisa berpoliferasi (syaraf dan sel jantung), injury is irreverseable
      - Liver memiliki kemampuan beregenerasi yang tinggi, liver dapat kehilangan 90% bagiannya dan dapat berpoliferasi dari sel hepatocytes yang tersisa, atau repopulasi dari progenitor cell (oval cell) yang located in canals of Hering. Prosesnya melalui 2 fase :
        
        Priming Phase (mediated by Cytokines)-> to make cell competent to recieve growth factor signal
        
        Growth Factor Phase(HGF): untuk menstimulasi cell agar masuk dalam cell cycle
  - - - Inflamation -> diinisiasi oleh luka untuk membersihkan sel yang mati
        
        Angigenesis -> pembuatan pembuluh darah baru (VEGF) untuk memberi nutrisi
        
        Granulation -> pink, soft tissue terbentuk dari fibroblas yang bermigras, pembuluh darah baru dan loose ECM
        
        Scar Formation-> Fibroblast menumpukkan kolagen yang nantinyanmembentuk bekas luka (fibrous) yang stabil dan remodelling
    - - First Intention (Primary Union) -> occurs in clean, uninfected incisions (surgical sutures), Epithelial regeneration by day 5 granulation fills the gap with collagen fibers
        
        Second Intention (Secondary union) -> luka besar dan dalam, tubuh harus membuat banyak jaringan baru dan menarik tepi luka dengan kuat untuk menutup celah yang luas (myofibroblast)
