Blood Cancer (Vienna, Stephanie, Charlotte)
Genes
If your mom or dad, or recessive genes have cancer
you have a chance to have it too.
If you were to have cancer passed down to you from a family member your cells in your body would be extremely vulnerable.
-
-
When a cancerous gene replicates another cancerous gene, they will continue to spread cancerous genes throughout the body.
Age
Older people have a higher chance of getting cancer because they have been through more cell divisions in their bodies since they are older, and their bodies have done more work. Younger people have fewer chances of getting cancer because their bodies have been throughfewer cells divisions than older people have.

Risk factors
Medications
-
Certain medications or pills have side effects of possibilities of developing cancer for instance, Birth Control.
Height
taller people have more cells in their body that work together to make sure their body stays healthy and does the proper work. Since taller people have more cells in their bodies that means that they will have higher chances at receiving cancer than shorter people. Shorter people have less cells in their body and they also go through less cells divisions than taller people do which lowers their rate at attracting cancer.

Mutation
Different cells will mutate at different rates; they will mutate based on how many cell divisions the cells have been through but also if the cells have corrected certain DNA strands.
Cell Division
Cells will divide more as the person gets older, the older the person is the more cells divisions the people have been through, the younger they are the less cells divisions their body has been through.
