Camera angles
Low angle - makes the audience feel the significant lack of power as the subject appears dominant over the audience

Neutral Camera Angle - the audience is at eye level to the subject, building connection with the subject and tearing down barriers in between. Symbolises neutrality and allows the audience to feel associated
Canted Angle: imposes a sense of disorientation from reality. Makes the audience feel that something isn't right. Epitomises instability
Bird's Eye View: Makes the subject feel totally insignificant, vulnerable and completely, utterly isolated in comparison with the audience.
Worm's eye View: allows subjects to appear completely imposing and dominant over the audience, causing complete intimidation.
Shot types
Full Shot: illuminates a comprehensive view of a character's physical presence. Mostly utilised for introducing a character's costume or posture
Medium Shot: Shows the subject from the knees up. Allows the audience to see the character's gestures from the waist up, striking a balance between context and intimacy. A neutral, conversational shot showcasing body language and interactions.
Close-up: engages the audience with the subject's reactions and emotions, allowing the audience to resonate deeply with a character's emotional journey. Forces the audience to focus on what the subject is feeling in the moment.
