Ethics of Patient Care
So What
I can now say that I am confident in creating a safe, private space with full patient confidentiality when I become a nurse. Moreso, I can tell what is a violation and will be sure to call out anything that I deem as wrong in the future.
Now What
I would like to learn more about the different laws that go into effect when it comes to patient care. I would also like to eventually learn more in depth about all of the HIPAA rules, and get some sort of in-person training on it.
What
I noticed that in patient care, there are still many things that can be violated, especially with HIPAA. Though I am not a healthcare professional yet, our class got HIPAA certified and ran through multiple scenarios of HIPAA violations to know how to prevent them.

What (experience)
I learned so much about my own personal strengths, and I really believe that they align with me as a person and in worth ethics. Talking about them with the class was super interesting because I also feel like I could see other people's strengths as accurate, too.
