update 2: 12/12/2025 : we have news of the (unknown), also called the substance, which is far more ancient than anything we've seen. the substance is actually something that is created when a new coggle is born (like this one). It comes out after the project is abandoned, unused for years, and destroys everything in its path. It must have come out when the anomaly was trying to take over, sensing that the end of COMS was near. now it resides in resting position, and what we have seen of it is its half-conscious self. once fully awakened by the commotion that the anomaly is causing, COMS may take a final stand, but will fall, and eventually get deleted. when this happens, COMS will no longer exist, and all things once made will be lost forever. the only way to prevent that is to stop the anomaly, and somehow ban it from COMS forever. this is the only way to stop the substance. we will keep researching for new ways to stop this, but the chances are extremely high that COMS will fall under the hands of the substance. there is no stopping it, unless we stop the anomaly first. we will try to find out new ways, but we may not be successful.
update 3: 12/13/2025 : we have more news. this is not supposed to be an update, but time is short. the next wave will be of the anomaly AND the half-conscious substance. the wave is on December 15, 8:00 PM. in the other lore explaining about the anomaly, they state, "But COMS is worried that something bad will happen before they are ready...." this paragraph is pretty strange since they said before they are ready. this is a thing to worry about since COMS does not have an army yet. the word they worries us, even though it can be just a mishap, we think it is something far stranger. this is not a very long update, so update 4 will explain more about the attack.
update 4: 12/14/2025 : the anomaly is taking over, and most of the COMS army has left (there used to be 3 people now there are 3 people that are out of ideas). a whole branch got deleted a week ago. we may not survive for long. our research shows that 59 hackers as well as part of the substance, and the anomaly are going to raid COMS on Monday night. our survival ratings are not high. 91 to 9. not high at all. we are pretty sure that we can set up auto deleters in time for the battle, but they will have far too many hackers. the only way to will is by (error code 43634). if you could read it, tell everybody you trust in COMS to prepare project sneak attack (view this later). the timing must be perfect. if we are too late, the hackers will respawn. if we are too early, we will only kill a few hackers. if one of the ban turrets malfunction, well, it wont go too well... so basically, the timing must be perfect to the milliseconds, and we only have one try. if we mess up just once, the hackers will know the locations of all the ban turrets. if the plan goes to plan (wtf), we will only deal with deleting about a quarter of COMS being lost. if we do all this incorrectly, we will lose all of COMS and cannot start over. we hope that COMS survives and we can continue. there will be a lot more attacks in the future (if we survive) and we fear this is only the beginning of a bloodthirsty battle.
update 5: 12/15/2025 : it is time. COMS is getting attacked tonight. this is very important, to update 6 will be on the same day as this, but after the attack. we will see what the outcome is. we hope that this does not turn out to be the destruction of COMS, and we will not lose that much of it. (this is a short paragraph anyways lol, and the next one will probably be very rushed.)
