- pluck hairs and pull off scales with forceps
- and/or scrape with a dry blade

Pathogenesis

Therapy

topical therapy: enilconazole (dog, cattle, horse), miconazole/chlorhexidine or lime sulphur (cat, dog)
infection of hair, claw or stratum corneum by a fungus of the Arthrodermataceae family
