typically left flank
much easier to exteriorise uterus
if twins, need to extract other twin from inside horn
rumen exteriorisation a frequent problem in pygmy goats
Prognostic indicators
duration of dystocia
rotten lambs
visible damage to vagina/vula
ewe demeanour, BCS
co-morbidity
