How mechanism works
Invading viral DNA is cut by Cas proteins and stored in the bacterium's CRISPR region as a "memory." This memory is transcribed into RNA, which, with Cas9, forms a "Scout complex" to recognize and destroy the virus upon future invasion.
My opinion
It is very healful, and meaningful
