What are they?
Long lasting patterns of thinking, feeling, and behvaing that go against what most people in your culture consider normal.
How are they organized?
- Categorical model -> specific named disorder (like borderline,narcissictic,etc)
- Alternative Model --> mixes categories with looking at symptoms on a scale (more flexible)
