Samaritans have introduced a new scheme with 7 big retailers to improve mental health and wellbeing of staff in the retail sector as it is the largest private sector in the UK. The partnership is with John Lewis Partnership, TESCO, Sainsbury's, ASOS,
Co - op, Marks & Spencers and NEXT. This is relevant to my target audience as it raises awareness to young people to be more conscious of others around you. From 2,000 people Samaritans questioned 50% of them would not recognise the signs of someone needing emotional support. This theme could be relevant to include in my billboard as it will be more relatable as the setting will be in a retail work space. The person this will attract is someone that works in retail and want to help in a volunteering scheme to help better their workspace or to show awareness of how people can not see when others are struggling so they can use this charity to get help and become more aware of signs to tell if someone is having suicidal thoughts or struggling.
