Lifting equipment must be strong and stable (marked with SWL), positioned and installed, used safely and planned, examined by authorities
Lifting equipment covered: Cranes / Forklifts / Hoists / Accessories such as slings chains and eye bolts
PPE for slinging
Overalls, Safety Boots, Hard Hat, High Vis
Manual Handling - use mechanical means when possible, if not get help

HOT WORK

A permit to work is required, signed by the Operator, Sentry, OOW / OOD, DMESR, DWESR
Welding Sentry

Remove combustibles, cover electrical insulation
Remove packing materials, clear up oil spills
Aloft / Divers Down
ALOFT

Non slip footwear, overalls tucked
Loose items removed, in date safety harnesses above you
All tools secured, sentry to wear hard hat high vis and communication with those aloft
DIVERS DOWN

No underwater discharge, sonar equipment, cathodic protection
SHIPHAZ
Hazard State Board - holds the keys and tags / data to reduce dangers of specific activities. Part A shows potential hazards and methods to reduce them while part B stows tags / keys for isolated equipment

Equipment provided is suitable, maintained / inspected, accompanied by suitable safety measures and given applicable training
