        Yellow: A common belt following white.
        
        Orange: Often placed between yellow and green.
        
        Green: A key rank in most systems.
        
        Blue: Usually comes after green or purple.
        
        Purple: Often appears between green and brown.
        
        Brown: The last belt before black in many systems.
        
        Black: The rank of a black belt, which signifies a high level of proficiency. There are multiple dan (degrees) within the black belt rank itself, with the first being the entry-level.

      - Gloves/Mitts: Provide padding for hands and are often used in combination with focus mitts for training.

      - Mouthguard: Protects teeth and mouth.
