Labov's Narrative Model
Abstract (A): An indication that the speaker wants the listener's attention. It signals the start of the narrative.

Orientation (O): The Who/Where/Why/What. Sets the scene, provide background info that the speaker feels is important.
"I was walking home from work around 6pm, just past the park"
Resolution (R): ties up loose ends, provide closure, and concludes the narrative.
