Communication (Outreach) - CAI & Law Foundation to Executive Directors from Eligible Organizations.
Re-launch and transition of grant to CAI (Nov 2025 & December 2025)
Outreach from Executive Directors to Eligible roles to let them know about this program. Eligible applicants are directed to a landing page where more details of the program are shared.

Eligible Applicants apply for reimbursement via CAI Granting Portal. The Portal will include instructions, guidelines and troubleshooting supports for Grantees
Create login credentials via CAI's online portal.
Complete registration details and provide EFT information (void cheque)
Complete Application form to verify eligibility. This includes: consent to Terms & Conditions,
Request for Reimbursements:
Complete milestones: Upload receipts to receive reimbursement.
CAI will review receipts to verify whether the services being applied for is on the list of eligible services; determine whether the amount of funding sought is within the funding amount for eligible individuals. Final decisions whether to approve application will be made during this phase.

Resource Hub
The goal of this hub is to provide employees with practical guidance, self-assessment tools, and culturally inclusive resources to support their mental health and wellness.
Eligible applicants can draft their plans for seeking counselling that makes the most sense to them after having viewed the modules in the resource hub.

Engaging Elder for Counselling Services
An Employee List (directory) Database: A secure, easy-to-use system for Eligible organizations to manage their employee lists. CAI will create a simple, web-based portal where each agency has its own login to update their information twice a year. ( In-development)
CAI will send regular reminders to the Grantees to report any relevant changes in Eligible Roles staffing to CAI
CAI Eligibility Verification
CAI will cross-check the database to determine whether applications are from an individual in an Eligible Role
CAI Reporting Mechanism to Law Foundation
CAI will collaborate with Foundation staff to support transition of program to CAI and to improve the Program and processes.
CAI will provide high-level quarterly reporting to the Foundation
total amount of funding issued to eligible individuals
avg. amount of funding issued to eligible individuals
Number of eligible individuals accessing and making use of the Program
Number of eligible individuals who have exhausted the maximum amount of funding available
any other thematic information.
CAI will track and review Program and fund usage as part of CAI's financial oversight processes
CAI Confidentiality & Data Retention Process
CAI will secure,retain, and dispose of program data including sensitive personal information in accordance with CAI's data retention processes and confidentiality policy
