Plagiarism means passing other peoples ideas as ones own. ( any ideas that didn't originate from yourself. )
Pasting, slightly rewording, and stealing quotes is plagiarism
Quoting with citations and PROPER paraphrasing with citations is how to avoid plagiarism
writing notes in ones own words is not plagiarism.
