Married to Agamemnon, King of Mycenae and gave birth to 4 children, being Orestes, Electra, Iphigenia and Chrysothemis. During the Trojan War, Agamemnon sacrificed Iphigenia to please God Artemis to get favourable winds for his fleet. As vengeance she began an affair with his cousin, Aegisthus. Upon Agamemnon's return from the Trojan War, she stabbed him killing him.
