- - - - The Access Layer provides network connectivity for end devices, such as computers, printers, IP phones, and cameras.
      - It controls which devices are allowed to connect to the network and provides user access, port security, VLAN segmentation, and sometimes Power over Ethernet (PoE).
      - In short, it’s where end users and devices enter the network.
    - - It focuses on speed, redundancy, and fault tolerance, avoiding complex processing or filtering.
      - The Core Layer is the high-speed backbone of the network.
      - Its main function is to provide fast and reliable data transport between distribution layers, often across large geographic areas or multiple buildings
- - - - Improves scalability: Expanding the access layer allows more devices, users, and services to connect as the network grows.
      - Enhances performance: Adding additional switches and uplinks helps distribute traffic more efficiently and avoid bottlenecks.
      - Supports new technologies: A larger access layer provides flexibility to integrate wireless access points, VoIP phones, and IoT devices seamlessly.
