Galley Ready Use Cupboard - a self contained unit like a refrigerator to keep galley ready food supplies at 5 - 7
While water has a boiling point of 100, refrigerants such as R134A can have boiling points as low as -26.5

Compressor
Vapour leaving the evaporator enters the compressor in the form of a gas (liquids must not enter as they are incompressible)
The Compressor is basically a positive displacement pump that pressurises the gas, leaving it as a high pressure, high temperature gas
Condensor
Entering as a high pressure, high temperature gas, it's condensed by seawater into a liquid
A large amount of subcooling is used to ensure all latent heat is removed and a warm high pressure liquid leaves the condenser
Evaporator
Extremely low pressure, low temperature liquid refrigerant enters and is evaporated, absorbing the latent heat and changing it from a liquid to a gas
Most evaporators include a fan to aid heat circulation and extremely cold air is the result, whilst superheated gas leaves
