Interesting thought: I have realized experts such as doctors might provide jargon to sound credible but oftentimes it just confuses the patient more

Digital health tools have become more common but they influence how a patient finds and uses health information.
Providers must understand eHealth literacy so they can support patients better who may struggle with understanding.
eHealth literacy is the ability to evaluate health information on electronic sources and apply knowledge to personal health problems.
There are barriers related to health literacy and digital health resources such as language barriers, cost of devices, and misunderstanding of the device.
Interesting thought: I have learned in another class about the digital divide especially affecting the older generation. Is it possible these digital resources cause a further divide worsening health inequities?
One additional question: How effective are current trainings to improve eHealth literacy in the long term?
