he is obsessed with money as he thinks it grants status but he wants to keep his money to himself as he doesnt understand that others want to make thier own name. this shows his strong capitolist views

he likes to hear is own voice, he is very hubristic , confident in his views and doesnt want to change them, he is a naive capitolist and he presents it in his endless rants against ' these cranks ' and how they talk.
