DEFINITION OF TERMS
TUP Connect: A centralized web-based platform that enhances communication, engagement, and access to information within the Technological University of the Philippines community.
Institutional Information: Refers to official data and announcements released by the university, including administrative notices and organizational updates.
Student Engagement: The level of participation, involvement, and connection of students within the university’s academic and extracurricular activities.
Administrative Notices: Official communications or announcements issued by the university administration regarding policies, schedules, and important updates.
Content Managers: Authorized users such as administrators, student council officers, and organization representatives responsible for posting and managing content within the platform.
Information Retrieval: The process of accessing, searching, and viewing relevant data or announcements within the TUP Connect platform.
Systemic Inefficiencies: Refers to the delays or communication problems caused by using multiple, uncoordinated platforms for sharing information.
Bulletin Board: A feature where official announcements, reminders, and events from the administration and student council are posted.
Community Feed (Freedom Wall): A space where students can share thoughts and opinions either publicly or anonymously in a moderated environment.
Organization Feed: A section that allows accredited student organizations to post updates, promote events, and connect with members.
University Directory: A searchable list containing contact information and details of TUP offices and accredited organizations.

Consequence: This leads to systemic inefficiencies, is time-consuming for students, and prevents a cohesive and transparent communication strategy.
Solution/Goal: Development of TUP Connect, a centralized web-based platform, to significantly enhance student access and efficiency.
Core Functionalities: Includes a Bulletin Board (official notices), an Organization Feed, a Community Feed (Freedom Wall), and an AI Chatbot.
