CALL AND RESPONSE
C&B can be also used in one of the main sections, combined with ornamentation and repetition it will create a strong main section

Call and Response can be used in the beginning of the song, together with crescendo and accelerando, to create nice intro
TONE AND MOOD
Sometimes, both moods mix in the songs, creating strong contrast between happy and celebrating, and sad and melancholic tones.
Usually, the tone of Russian Folk music is very joyful, energetic and happy. This is emphasized by fast tempo, high volume and energetic dances.
Another common tone for the Russian Folk songs is melancholic and sad, showing sorrow and struggle of the people.
STRUCTURE
The most common structure for the Russian Folk music contains 3 or 4 different sections, and some transitions between them. Usually the sections are: Intro, 2 Main Sections, that repeat and develop over time, and Outro. In the end, the structure is something like ABCBCD.
