PORIFERA
DEFINITION

EXAMPLES

CNIDARIA
DEFINITION
A phylum of aquatic invertebrate animals that comprises the coelenterates.
EXAMPLES
corals, hydras, jellyfish, Portuguese men-of-war, and sea anemones
PLATYHELMINTHES
DEFINITION
A phylum of soft-bodied, unsegmented invertebrates that are bilaterally symmetrical and flattened.
EXAMPLES
Planarians, liver flukes, blood flukes, and beef tapeworms.
NEMATODA
