      - Tools
        
        • Memory — to recall what they saw, heard, and felt during and after the bombing.
        
        • Emotion — strong emotions help them express the pain and fear, but emotions can also distort or intensify memories.
        
        • Language — they use words, metaphors, and storytelling to communicate their experience to others.
        
        • Sense perception — what they directly witnessed (seeing the explosion, hearing screams, feeling heat, etc.) became their evidence.
        
        These “tools” form subjective knowledge — it’s deeply personal, rich in feeling, and gives insight into human experience that data alone can’t.
        
        Historical/scientific
        
        Historians and scientists study the same event using:
        
        • Documents and records (military reports, government data, death tolls).
        
        • Photographs, artifacts, radiation studies, etc.
        
        These are meant to be objective — they use systematic, verifiable methods
