it's harmless therefore you can skim it off

Immediately dispose of it
Wash and disinfect the jars

Prevention
Use clean and sanitized materials when handling the vegetable or water
Avoid opening the jars unless needed
Keep it tightly sealed with plastic on the lid
Avoid taking the vegetables out of the jar
Store it in a cool and dry place
Make sure that the vegetables are submerged
