Abby Road by The Beatles
The reason I chose this album was because of many different things. Released in 1969 for the time it was very popular and a very different album. The beatles created music that wasnt the normal for artist and songs at the time. A quote that I pulled was “is a monumental album that features some of the most beloved tracks in the band’s catalog, including “Come Together,” “Something,” and the medley on side two that culminates with “The End.” Known for its innovative production and the iconic cover photo of the band crossing the street outside the studio, “Abbey Road” was a critical and commercial success.” and thats from 50 Best Pop Albums Ever - Top40weekly
Another thing was this was a massive hit for the Bealtes and even resturnatns getting named Abby Road which is a restaurant that is based off the beatles and that album. A couple photos to include are
The main concept for Brian Eno’s essay “The Studio as Compositional Tool was the fact the recording studio is an instument itself . The album cover of Abby Road is a picture of the stars on the street infront of their studio on Abby Road.

John Coltrane was well Known and he gained respect from lots of generations of Jazz
- Coltrane tried untiting the old jazz and the new jazz.
- it said he wanted to unite " the young turks and the old guard"
- A Love Supreme was a Center point.
I connect the Beatles to Coltrane because the Beatles created music
That wasn't normal for their time; some would call it innovative.In that same way, Coltrane innovated by trying to combine the old and the new, especially since he was criticized and called crazy for doing so; they even questioned his sanity.
The main concept of David Toop’s Ocean of Sound is that advancements in technology opened up a whole new world of music creativity. The Beetles pioneered the use of stereo sound to create a better listening experience.
