Activity: Group activity where the learners are divided into groups, each group gets an animal. The group needs to discuss how their animal assists humans and present their findings to the rest of the class.

Tools and Equipment Used in Animal Care
Key Content: Investigate simple tools, equipment, and modern technology used to care for and manage helpful animals.
Activity: Tool Exploration Table, a table is set up with simple tools (or models of these tools) and pictures of tools. The children can handle the tools used in animal care and also match the tools to the animal it is used for.
The Production of Animal-Based Products.
Key Content: Explore the production of animal-based products (tools used, how it is done, etc)
Activity: The learners watch videos on the production of animal-based products. Afterwards they are given worksheets where they need to order the production cycle for different animal products.

Activity: The learners get a worksheet where they need to match the animal to the different roles in farming, transportation and community well-being.
Cultural Significance of Animals
Key Content: How various cultures value and use animals that assist in daily life and community practices.
Activity: The teacher reads a story or stories about different cultures and how animals assist them and how they value them. Afterwards the class can discuss the stories and the teacher asks the what do these stories tell us about how different cultures value animals.
