1.) Designs for animals, shelters, cattle pen, etc.
Key concept: Simple structured models for animals that can help them do their job.
Activity: Make a small design out of recycled materials for example, a bee hotel or a worm shelter and then test the stability.
1.)Bees: Pollination and flowers
Key concept: Bees transfer pollen between plants to make fruit or seed.
Activity: Pollination(yellow chalk) illustration with flowers and cotton buds learners work in groups to predict, observe and record which flowers grows fruit in role-play.
2.)Earthworms: soil helpers & decomposers
Key Concept: Worms eat and break down dead plants and leaves, turning them into better soil for the plants to grow in.
Activity: Use soil jars not to large, medium size and fill it with soil from the garden and put 2/3 earthworms inside, notice the changes over 5 days.
1.) people and animals: guide dogs working animals.
key concept: Animals help people do their jobs and to earn a income.
Activity: Show a short video of guide dogs and have a group discussion about people who need guide dogs.
2.) Community caring for animals:
Key concept: It is humans responsibility to take care of animals that help us.
Activity: Do role-play game where you act what you would do if you see a injured animal or a earthworm on the road and see how they interact.
2.)Tools for task involving animals
Key concept: The tools that we use on animals for example milking tools must be safe and appropriate.
Activity: Can have them make labels to put on the tools and make tools out of boxes or recycled materials and role-play with the tools.
